French Entity FIDEO Gestion Joins ENGAGE for ESG to advance the Renovation Wave

FRANKFURT –  16 MARCH 2026

The ENGAGE for ESG Consortium is pleased to announce that FIDEO Gestion, a France-based company committed to the increase of home renovations, has joined ENGAGE for ESG as a trial user.

From March 2026, FIDEO Gestion will work with the ENGAGE Templates and Portal—innovative tools developed under the EU-funded ENGAGE for ESG project—to assess the Taxonomy alignment of French home renovation loan portfolios in a systematic and structured manner. As part of this process, FIDEO will begin uploading credit and sustainability information to the ENGAGE Portal, further enriching the ESG data available on the platform.

“We are delighted to have a new ENGAGE Portal user called FIDEO focusing on France” said Marco Angheben, ENGAGE Project Coordinator and Head of Business & Regulatory Affairs at European DataWarehouse. “FIDEO has developed an innovative ecosystem for home renovations with major bank lenders. The integration of the ENGAGE Templates and Portal with the FIDEO renovation solutions marks another important step in the initiative”.

Françoise Réfabert, President of FIDEO Gestion, confirms that: “Partnering with the ENGAGE Portal is a natural step for the FIDEO Energy Renovation Bank project. We are building a trusted value chain that connects renovation originators and financing solutions around high-quality renovation standards and reliable processes and data. By validating this model under real-world refinancing conditions with ENGAGE, we can unlock the capital needed to scale deep renovations across France and Europe.”

Vincent Mahieu, Head of Energy Efficiency & Regulatory Technology at Hypoport, added: “We are pleased to welcome the French FIDEO initiative to ENGAGE for ESG. FIDEO’s focus on simplifying, guaranteeing and securing financing for high-performance renovation is particularly relevant in the context of EPBD IV implementation in France. It makes FIDEO a valuable addition to our shared ambition to accelerate practical and scalable ESG solutions across Europe”.

Authorised parties, including investors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, will be able to access FIDEO’s uploaded information, as well as the corresponding ENGAGE data quality and EU Taxonomy alignment reports, subject to FIDEO’s approval.

FIDEO Gestion will present its role in the French renovation wave financing during the ENGAGE event on 23 April 2026 at 15:00CEST. Registrations are open here.

European lending institutions are invited to participate in the ENGAGE for ESG initiative, giving them exclusive access to the EU Taxonomy assessment until December 2026, by emailing engage4esg@eurodw.eu
